Standing
Stones

Solitary standing stones, which may have been monuments to the deceased, alignments to natural landscape features, or even boundary markers, are thought to date from the Late Neolithic to the Iron Age (c. 2400 BCE to 500 CE). They may be as short as half a meter (20 in) or as tall as six meters (20 ft).
