5. How was this done?
In July 2010 the source images were shot with a Nikon D50 DSLR, 18mm lens, using RAW mode, with HDR processing. A Kaidan Spherical VR head was to orient the overlapping images. PTGui Pro was used to stitch the panoramas. Pano2VR was used to make the original VR tour. For the HMD tour, krpano was used. Alexandra Gurevich, my 2014-2015 graduate research assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, was instrumental in getting the HMD tour completed. Hopefully at some time we will return to Newgrange and re-shoot everything in 3D.
